About Me
I am a Computer Engineering student at Iowa State University, graduating in Spring 2027 with a concentration in Software Development and Artificial Intelligence. I enjoy building things that live at the intersection of hardware and software, from low-level firmware all the way up to full backend systems.
On the professional side, I interned as a Product Engineer at Motorola Mobility in Chicago, where I worked on data migration pipelines that served over nine million users worldwide. My project work includes a fully pipelined five-stage RISC-V processor built in structural VHDL and an autonomous radar-mapping robot running on an ARM Cortex-M4.
I am actively looking for Software Engineering internships in backend development, embedded systems, or applied AI and machine learning. My goal is to work on software that is fast, dependable, and makes a real difference for the people who use it.
Outside of engineering, I have played competitive & club Ultimate Frisbee for 10+ years and currently serve as Vice President of the Iowa State club team. I also enjoy golf, follow Formula One racing as a Red Bull fan, cheer for the Chicago Bears, and love traveling. I have visited seven countries so far with more on the list.
Tech Stack
Things I've Built
RISC-V Processor
Designed a fully pipelined 5-stage processor (IF→ID→EX→MEM→WB) in structural VHDL. Modularized control, fetch, and ALU units with simulation-based debugging and automated trace verification.
Radar Mapping Robot
Autonomous robot using C-based ADC and sensor fusion with 100% obstacle detection accuracy. Paired with a Python GUI (Tkinter + Matplotlib) to stream and visualize live radar sweeps in real time.
Productivity Manager
Interactive focus timer app with real-time DOM state management, Web Audio API notifications, and persistent Local Storage. Pixel-art UI with Pomodoro-style session tracking.
Where I've Worked
- Tested mobile AI interface against top OEMs, synthesizing 200+ user feedback inputs to surface actionable improvements
- Optimized iOS-to-Android migration pipelines in Java & Spring Boot, contributing to a 12% user retention uplift
- Shipped agile Moto Migrate updates improving reliability for 9M+ global users
- Resolved 100+ weekly hardware/software issues through diagnostics and log analysis, cutting repeat incidents by 35%
- Isolated critical failures — network outages, OS corruption — reducing mean time-to-resolution by 20%
- Designed and debugged PCB telemetry boards and STM32 microcontroller interfaces, enhancing sensor accuracy
- Programmed embedded C firmware for real-time data collection with ADC and interrupt-driven routines
